CHARACTER INFORMATION |
CHARACTER NAME: Akinyemi Iggi Mani (A-ken-ye-me eeg-gee Man-nee) NICK NAME (S): Yemi (Ye-Me) NAME MEANING (S): Akinyemi stands for "Fated to be a warrior" in African and Mani stands for "From the Mountain". It seemed perfect to have someone "Fated to be a warrior who's from the mountain" His father was actually the one to come up with this name because he has always wanted to have a son to be strong. The middle name Iggi is actually his father’s name meaning “Only son” for Yemi is an only child like his father. Indeed when his son, Akinyemi gripped his finger at birth nearly broke it! Yemi's surname was traditionally given to those of males born in the village within the mountains. GENDER: Male NATIONALITY: Yemi is fully African. ASTROLOGICAL SIGN: Just like any Taurus Yemi is very stubborn and determined in whatever he's doing. Yet, he still is cautious about his well-being and others he cares for. Also he is very cautious about money and other financial issues and is persistent to accomplish his goals in life. BIRTHDAY: May 15 AGE: 17 GEMSTONE: Emerald OCCUPATION: Yemi is a student, he would work if he had the chance but his mother would rather let his studies be his priority first, and everything else second. Plus with the responsibility with his ill father would put him out of work also. Yet he can still get some kind of cash from dancing competitions around in SF, break dancing that is. RESIDENCY: Yemi lives with both of his parents in a town house. The school he goes to isn't too far away so he would rather take a walk than drive or take a bus for him. SCHOOL: Yemi attends the George Washington High School.
Extra Curricular: Dance Club APPEARANCE: +Face and Skin: Yemi's face holds strong detail within his oval shaped face filled with endless expressions. From his African ethnicity he was given skin of a very dark and smooth tan. Scars, bumps and or acne do not pollute his rich dark skin. +Hair: Yemi's hair is rather thick and curly, and coal-black. His hair tends to get frizzy if no gel or curl activator is applied to it. Yemi usually adds some product to have the curls actually form completely and hang about nose level on his face. Other times he will let it be in a small fro but not letting it get untidy. +Build and Carriage: Akinyemi is at an average height of a young man; around 5'11" leaves him with a rather thin body. But with a high metabolism from his father's genetics he can often eat anything with out getting bulky, also he trains often in his dancing keeping him active and free of fat. From his day-by-day training he has developed some muscle but he doesn't show it a lot. Often he doesn't like to flaunt his body finding it rude to show off. With his feet trained to move to any beat he carries himself with a smooth casual grace and often a pop in his walk if music is in the air. +Clothing: Yemi never really cared for a name brand finding it redundant to judge one with certain a company's clothes. But Yemi does like how the Gap fits loosely while he's practicing his dance moves. Baggy or loose fitting clothes find their way into Yemi's taste of style. He would usually wear an open button-down shirt with a t-shirt under it while wearing cargos or khakis. Yemi will only wear dark clothes from a navy blue to a rain forest green. Even dark purple if granted! White is something he wouldn't wear too often, only if he had the need to be formal. +Voice: Yemi’s voice has a soft tone but no real accent to it. When he sings he can sing a good bass due to the slightly deep tone to it. PERSONALITY: Yemi is someone who is willing to keep someone happy during sad or hard times. Even if they were to push him away Yemi would still try to help them. He cares for all that seem to have a good heart or mind. Always persistent in anything he does; school, dancing, and helping others out. Even if he were in a fight he knew he couldn't win he would still fight unfortunately due to his stubbornness. Amongst his friends Yemi is very open-minded and pretty shameless, usually getting everyone else embarrass except himself, unless he was with the opposite sex. Overall Yemi has a very pure heart and soul towards others. He is also known to be someone cry on, someone who is stable when someone else is not. If he has the chance to fight he would rather not but if he were forced to then he would try his best to put an end to it without a "deadly" end. For one Yemi can't help himself but to seem like the happiest person on Earth, but when he gets put down or rejected in some way he would become easily depressed hating the thought of rejection and to be hated by others. He only wants to be accepted for who he is and only wants to understand and accept others. RELIGION:Vodun (Hoodoo) - Yemi follows his religion just like his parents. The one thing about his religion though is that through it he believes that his Soule, Gnome, "owns his head" which means that he serves this spirit from the otherworld. Yemi has tried to put himself into a trance through rituals to somehow "connect" to Gnome and possible talk to this entity. Yet he has not made any connection. Around the age of 20 she saved a man from drowning in a port in her city. The man turned out to be, Iggi, a young traveler and fisherman from the same city selling fish and other seafood. It was love at first sight as the two dated and Baina ended up living together. The two lovers soon married after two years of their love and brought Yemi into the world. Happy the small family was until soon after Yemi's birth his father, Iggi, came very ill and no cure was certain within the city. Baina became very saddened, afraid and uncertain of her lover's health and soon they found out that within the United States that there were possible ways for Iggi to live after all. Ever since the family moved from their home Baina hasn't been herself as usual but has always been by her son's side and always cheers him up in his studies and hobbies. She always stays by her husband's side too to make sure he would never get into a worse condition than he is now. Without her presence at home it would seem like no one would know what to do without her leadership. * Iggi Mani (Iggi - "Only Son" Mani - "From the Mountain"): Iggi is a courageous man who will never let his problems get to him. Iggi has never once in his life ever said he would do something and not do it. Sure he might fail but nevertheless he will never give up, even if it were to kill a fly he would put all his effort to getting rid of the pest, and this too is where Yemi got his determination from too. Iggi is a tall man with a thin body with wavy black hair and very dark skin. He now sits in a wheel chair due to his illness but he wears his traditional clothing from his nation very frequently. Iggi was an only son in his family and was often looked down upon by the other adults within the neighborhood because they thought any parent who only had one child would find it impossible to spread the bloodline of the family’s heritage. So Iggi was always pressured about everything he did as a child, helping with work, his own studies and so on. Iggi made little friends and only really talked if spoken to, but with his own family he would gladly talk and question about everything there is. When Iggi grew into a young man he gained more respect due to keeping promises and always having a big heart. Iggi, as he grew, loved fishing and how much it took to take a nice large fish from the seas. So he ended up being part of a crew of fishermen who always went out to catch the best of the best and sell within the city’s port. Yet loving catching such seafood he couldn’t really swim well which brought trouble… It was one day during far into the sea and helping his small crew they were caught in a bad storm, causing the ship to topple over! It was a struggle until he lost consciences. He woke up to find a woman pulling him from the dock who jumped in to save him when she was shopping. Iggi instantly fell in love with the woman, Baini, and she as well fell for him as well. The two couldn't stop talking to each other, learning from each other's past and what they knew. After two years of living in the city together Yemi was born into the world. The family lived happily, and more residents respected Iggi even if Yemi was an only child. But soon after Yemi's birth Iggi came down with an illness that couldn't be cured within the village. Iggi became cold, weak and often forgot about events and people he knew for years at such a young age. A doctor from the United States who was serving for children suggested that they moved to the US and find help there. The family moved to the US and Iggi got the help he needed but soon became paralyzed from the waist down and had to be in a wheelchair, taking medications to keep him healthy. Yet with his great loss didn't mean he isn't a good father. Iggi still tries his best to teach Yemi to be a great man and be responsible for his actions. Often at times he will need some tutoring from his own son as well! * Kameko ("Child of a Tortoise; Symbol of long life"): Yemi's pet tortoise he had ever since he was born. Not surprisingly the tortoise shows no real sign of age except for all the wrinkles it bears. Being a small creature no bigger than an opened hand he is constantly carried around to school or anywhere Yemi felt like going thinking that being very slow and being stuck in a shell all day would really be sad. Kameko is a Japanese name but the tortoise was never named until Yemi was allowed to name it himself and a young friend he knew told him of the name and Yemi granted the of the tortoise to be Komeko. Komeko lives in Yemi's room on top of his dresser in a fish tank with plants and nice scenery with water inside. * Coen Richmond: Yemi's closest friend and dance partner during practice or for show. Coen is slightly taller than Yemi, has green eyes and brown hair. Yemi has known Coen since they were both ten years old, always sharing the same dream to be the best dancer there was. Coen is an extremely laid back guy, often trying to loosen up Yemi and have him not be so shy around others. You can say that Coen sometimes influences Yemi into dangerous situations, but always has a good heart. Determined on his goals and very persistent to achieve in life like Yemi he is always training like Yemi does, due to a promise they made since they were children. Coen's nationality is German but sometimes doesn't look like it with his dark tan skin and how he dresses in very loose and sometimes raggedy clothes. Coen is the same age as Yemi, 17, and goes to his school, also living in a townhouse like him only a few blocks away. STRENGTHS: * Optimistic: Nothing can ruin Yemi's day when he's at his happiest. Always trying to find a good side of things and blocking out the negatives. Sometimes his bubbling pot of joy may get of hand but watching him would have to put a smile on someone's face. * Determination: No matter what the consequences are Yemi will try his best to get any job done. Always with his best foot forward, Yemi can't be steered away from his goals whether it is school, his dancing, or a walk to the park. Nothing is impossible to Yemi's eyes as long as he's around. * Stable: When times seem to be falling apart; like his friends very upset or there is a dangerous situation or just simple chaos at home he stays calm and tries to resolve the problem at hand. Often friends come to him seeking for a shoulder to cry on or need to comforting as Yemi happily accepts it. He loves to help people and keep them happy due to his past when times were tough on him he always had his family or his best friend, Coen, comfort him. WEAKNESSES: * Stubborn: Even though Yemi can be determined he can also be very stubborn and become close minded when his eyes are set on anything that's really important to him. He sometimes can't bring himself to find a different answer in a situation other than the one he has planned already. This being his weakness sometimes cripples his actions in life, sometimes hurting others in the process when he means not to. * Heights: In his life he has always hated being too high in the air… Even with his dancing that could take him mid-air causes him to have butterflies in his stomach, yet he can easily get over it. But if he’s somewhere too high, such as airplanes, cliffs, and even the San Francisco steep streets cause him to be very edgy and scared. When in tall building his heart races and he can feel something as if he were to be pulled through the window to make him fall down to his demise. * Unable to Swim: One of the scariest reasons why he has hydrophobia is because he can't swim for his life. He will drown easily; this being associated with water makes him very easy to die from drowning alone. The only he could ever survive from a fate is having someone rescue him from the waters... His throwing arms cause him to lose energy and simply make him sink. * Blind Senses: Yemi is blind when it comes to sensing anyone else associated with the elemental powers. What would happen is that anyone with the powers of element could notice his ‘aura’ he could not notice it himself towards that same person in the area. Even when transformed he can’t feel the power of others around him. LIKES: * Music: Yemi simply loves any kind of music that he can dance to or sing (even though he's not the best singer there is at all) to. He wouldn't know what to do if he didn't had music in his life. Listening to it while he's walking out in the rain or shine, or at home studying even if he's about to go to bed he'll leave his stereo on to listen to music while sleeping. Somehow music makes his heart to flutter or to calm his nerves easily, maybe due to growing up with music all his life. * Caves: Yemi can't help himself but enjoy the dark passageways of a cave, beautiful crystals and waterways that can be found inside excites him so. Also being in a cave helps him concentrate on his powers if need be. It’s just that whenever he’s within a cave he feels comfort and protection, something he believes that is needed to feel stable at times. * Horror Movies: Oh yesthe cheesy, gory, "B-rated" movies are the thing Yemi LOVES! Whenever he has the chance he would go to the Blockbuster rental store just to find a good lame horror flick to watch with his pet or friends. * Anime: He likes the Japanese cartoons he watches on Adult Swim or the ones he rents once in the while and even go to the cons. But he's not overly addicted to it though. * Computers: Not very skilled at computers, but mostly understands what any other teenager knows about them and a little more. DISLIKES: * Not being accepted: Any form of rejection or not being able to be accepted as a friend or become trust worthy is a slap to the face for Yemi. All what Yemi wants is to accept people for who they are and they do the same for him. It's a level of respect Yemi believes is the most important thing within any relationship, trust and acceptance. * Complaining: Sure everyone hates to hear someone complain but for Yemi it is unheard of to do such a thing. It drives him insane when someone complains about something pitiful while they should get over it in the first place. Being raised to complain to yourself or don't even discuss it at all with others because it is rude to ruin someone else's day with your unhappiness. * Wind: Yemi LOATHES wind, partly it was because of wind he got a fear of heights from pushing him off high ground and causing a painful fall at a young age. Whenever a strong wind hits against him he would usually break his happy smile to a growl as he battles against the invisible foe. * Little Dogs: The sound of their annoying yapping just gets on Yemi's nerves. GOAL/DREAM/ASPIRATION: Yemi's number one goal in life is to be the best break-dancer there is. Training day in and day out nothing stops him from going to every competition in San Francisco. His desire to come up with impossible feats in dancing is his number one reason why he is always training and practicing his moves as much as often. Even if it isn't break dancing he is very well skilled in any other dance he partially taught himself in. SPECIAL SKILL: * Afrikaan Language: He is very fluent in the Afrikaan (Spelled correctly) language. * Super Strength: Yemi's strength surpasses anyone he knows in his life. He is able to lift around two tons of weight. It is very hard to hide his strength even after so much training in controlling it he still have trouble with doors and pencils at times. Students often fear him at his strength when he is taking his PE class with a small and thin body frame... He tries his best to keep the weight scale to an average teenager but sometimes it gets out of hand when he ends up carrying a 150 lbs. barbell around in one hand while he's getting something to drink from the water fountain. Yet he’s not questioned too much about his strength and even offered to try wrestling or weight lifting. But knowing that if he did such things people would catch on easily that he might be not very ‘human’ with these powers. * Earth Control: Yemi's feel for earth is deep within his soul as he exerts his power throughout his whole body. Through so much training he has been able to control the earth, soil, sand etc. But he has yet to know his full power within himself. Some training involves him being barefoot upon soil, sand or grass while his eyes are closed and his arms spread out on either side with palms faced down to the ground. With intense concentration his feet will begin to sink within the earth along with his whole body. Becoming one with earth as he sinks below he can move freely about in the soil, able to dig by having the earth separate for him. Of course he would get dirty but it is his power after all. He is also able to shift earth to rise and fall at his will, such as making hills or turning them into holes, causing small earthquakes and splitting the ground. . * Agility (Flexibility): With Yemi's hard training in dancing and especially break dancing has allowed him to do feats some break-dancers wish they could do. With his strength involved helps him to do some of the most complicated moves. Not only this helps with is dancing but it also proves useful in dodging attacks in battle. FAVORITE FOOD: * Fast Food: Every teenager’s favorite (or so it would seem). Yemi's loves to eat fast food, it may not be healthy, (which is why he doesn't eat too much of it) but his metabolism and work outs keeps the fat away. * Veggies: Corn, Peas, Carrots, Lettuce, Tomatoes you name it he'll probably eat it without hesitation * Cajun Cooking: Before San Francisco Yemi used to live in Alabama and always ate Cajun food, especially with seafood involved. LEAST FAVORITE FOOD: * Ham: Bacon, ham or anything that comes from that pig he will not ever get even near it. He would rather eat a earthworms. HOBBIES: * Dancing: One of Yemi's most important hobbies to him is his dancing. He has always loved dancing ever since he was seven years old. It could be any style of dancing but his life is break dancing. Finding it expresses how he wants to express his life to it's fullest he wants to be known for his talent of dancing not only in San Francisco, but one day over the world. * Helping Others: If anyone is down and out, or in trouble Yemi is willing to stick his neck out to help those he believes deserves it. Somehow feeling it's his job to protect others he tries his best in any situation to help others. * Games: A lot of video games Yemi owns are rhythm games such as; Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania IIDX, Guitar Freak/Hero and many other rhythm games made from Japan. Loving music so much he constantly tries to get better at these skill based games which he has learn to get very good at. Also with the many arcades around he is often found on a DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) machine to play. HISTORY: Yemi was born as an only child in, Cape Town, South Africa. His parents, Iggi and Baina, at a young age who married and had Yemi as a planned birth. The two met by accident; his father, Iggi, on a fishing trip out in sea and was saved by Baini, his mother, save him. Yet not all was well after Yemi was born, Iggi became very ill which was very odd for a strong man to come down with. No one could do anything to cure this illness that was over the poor man. He began to forget many things in his life and grew very weak and fragile. One day while Yemi was still only seven months old a doctor from the United States was treating children in the city and advised they go to the US and get in contact with a fellow doctor he knew that would be able to help Iggi from his illness. With the help of the doctor and family members the small family soon moved to Lousiana, where the doctor was located. Within Alabama Iggi was treated but had to be put in a wheelchair due to the illness paralyzing his legs and causing him to have lost memory. It was soon discovered that this unknown illness couldn't be cured and would eventually kill Iggi if he wouldn't take the medications he needed to keep from a suffering death. In Alabama Yemi grew up to be six years old, shy and to himself a lot while Cajun cooking and the simple ways of life revolved around him. Yemi would usually stroll along the many small ports upon the shores and watch fishermen catch food from the sea and haul it in like how his father mentioned in his days of fishing from one of his saved memories. One day Yemi was standing on one of the docks minding his own business until an unsteady wind caught Yemi off guard and made him fall into the waters of the bay. Terrified and never knew how to swim Yemi tried his best to get away from the cold waters but he was unable to swim for his life! With luck Yemi woke up in a hospital, seeing his mother and father next to him. He nearly drowned, and could've died if a fisherman wasn't near by and pulled him from a possible watery grave. From there Yemi swore he would never get far into a body of water again, the cold eerie touch of the water and how it swallowed him under frightens him to this day as well as the strong wind or any wind causes him to be fairly angry remembering that day. Baina, Yemi's mother, grew tired of Lousiana, and how it seemed very slow in life and wanted to experience a more exciting life. So the small family moved to San Francisco, California where life always had some sort of a surprise and nothing was ever dull. Indeed Yemi was fascinated how life was so busy and different from the state he used to live in. Iggi and Baina were still somewhat new to American life even after six years of living in the United States they were used to living their whole child hood in Capetown, Africa. Yemi, now ten years old, had a hard time adjusting to the fast paced city. All the people, and noise and just all the time that seemed to fly by Yemi's eyes, yet this was going to be a place Yemi would love either way. As Yemi began school he noticed a boy who was trying to show off his talent of dancing to other students, but this wasn't just any old dancing it was break dancing, something that was completely different and new to the young African. So after that day Yemi began to look up and research about dancing and how it was done... Taking some classes didn't fit him how he saw that one boy danced. So with the courage he went up to the boy, Coen, and asked him all about break dancing and how it was done. Coen was actually happy to see someone wanting to do what he did and took Yemi under his wing, showing him the different styles of dancing. Yemi soon found the passion of break dancing and hip-hop music from the 80s and early 90s. As Yemi grew older he continued to follow his dream to become a great dancer and kept up with his studies in school well until one day he was invited to a small get together at the beach. Oh how Yemi disliked of the idea of going to the beach, whenever there is a beach there is water. Yet Yemi went anyway so he wouldn't be rude and ended up having a horrible time. Everyone pretty much ignored him; he got hit in the face with a volley ball and panicked when he feel into a small puddle of water yelling that he was drowning, making a fool of himself. Afterwards it became dark and Yemi decided to ditch everyone and walk on his own. As he strolled along the beach Yemi sighed as he looked out at sea wishing that he wasn't so scared of a simple thing like water... Becoming frustrated at the day he kicked the sand with anger, but instead of getting spread out and fall the sand rise high into the air forming a hill. Yemi shocked by this fell other and muttered to himself if he did that. It was hours later that Yemi found out what he had within himself besides his unnatural strength which he hid fairly well. Yemi was sending the sand into the air and making it twirl and dance around him and formed shapes and statues out of the sands. This new power Yemi found brought a new feeling to Yemi, that he could do more for people and help out and maybe save lives. Not too long after that night a large package from FedEx came for Iggi. The man who was to deliver it had a hard time to even get it off the truck in the first place. Iggi, somewhat knowing his son was probably strong enough had Yemi get the package for himself. It turned out to be a huge hammer, almost bigger than Yemi! The family soon found out it was an ancient weapon that was passed down in the family bloodline. Finding that he had no use for it he decided to pass it down to Yemi, finding that his son might find a better use of it then he could. Yemi as he grew into his teen years in high school his strength became uncontrollable at times as he would break pencils, pens, even doors and equipment! Many of the students didn’t trust him while his best friend Coen was always on his side thinking it nothing more than Yemi’s ‘secret’ training. Yemi grew less of the being shy around others but he would usually keep to himself until he warmed up more to make more friends who could always count on his stability and trust. In the past few years Yemi trained harder and harder with his abilities as he found more about who he was and what he could actually do. Training from far away taking a bus to a secluded spot he will turn the land over to his will and shape it as well make gouges in the earth and put it back as if nothing happened to the peaceful land. Learning and concentrating alone he learned to how to transform using his father’s pocket watch that was given to him. Taking his hammer and using it to his advantage as a defense weapon as well as his earth manipulation he began to understand how to control himself little by little. Often he would do small deeds to help people from car accidents, using his hands like the Jaws of Life to free them and let the paramedics do the work. Also to go out of his way to stop robberies and criminals of the sort as a loner. Yet he made sure with his transformation he won’t get caught in his armor. Now he continues his training and schooling while balancing his hobbies and his goal to be the best or least known for his dancing. His mother always make sure he gets his work done while his father makes sure that he’s being a good man in his life even if he has lost memories and is in a wheel chair. Trying to do good deeds or kept busy with his goals and schooling he tries his best as he keeps close to all his friends. |
FIGHTER INFORMTION |
WARRIOR IDENTITY: Gnome ELEMENT/POWER: Earth SYMBOL: The symbol starts with a small circle and a horizontal line right under it, connecting, and a Triangle connected to the line under the circle as well, connected too. Finally an arrow pointing straight down from the triangle in the middle but not going through it. COLORS: Sea Green, Jade, Copper, Dark Brown ARMOR/COSTUME DESCRIPTION: The costume is a completely Jade. The torso of the armor is a vest (no sleeves) while triangle designs are on both shoulders and white rings at the edge of the arm holes. A white zipper goes down the middle of the vest and parts at the edges while a Copper colored belt buckles around the edge of the vest and hips of the pants. The pants are a little baggy while double white rings that are two inches apart wrap around the knees and again at the ends of the leggings. WINGS: The wings are of a two colored layered Dark Brown and Sea Green and are the form of an Ostrich. Not being able to fly really he can get a good boost to jump into the air. Used to retreat, dodge and or get to a location faster ITEM(S): A small gold charm bracelet while a small tortoise is alone on the bracelet. It was attached to the maul Yemi received but Yemi liked it too much and decided to wear it instead and at points to use his power to attach it to the shaft of the hammer. WEAPON(S): A Great Mallet that is about as tall as Yemi is. Along the shaft of the hammer green clothe is wrapped tightly along the metal. The head of the hammer is rectangle in shape and has carved designs on the side of it and is made out of pure stone. The designs include a mountain and a tortoise while in all capital letters ‘GNOME’ is carved into it. The hammer is more blunt damage and has great force with Yemi’s added strength. It bears no weight to Yemi but to someone else it seems very unlikely to carry it freely around like he does. The weapon can deattach along the handle so Yemi can hide it in his duffle bag and carry it with him whenever he feels that he needs it. POWERS/ATTACKS: Hammer Forge: When Yemi is found without his weapon he can form stone to make an identical copy of his original weapon. Yet he CANNOT use any powers that require his true power for it holds the special ability to do so. Shudder Spike - Weak Power: A small attack Yemi uses as he will force his hand into the air while the earth cracks and splits allowing a spike about three feet tall come through to hit the foe. This attack has a flat surface, to avoid actually killing the victim of this attack. There are often more then one spike as Yemi tries to conserve his strength summoning this ability. The attack can be easily dodged if one is to quickly jump, scatter, or stay on high ground once the earth splits, making it a dead give away at times. Whiplash Wall - Intermediate Power: Yemi using no weapon in this attack but only his charm to force his hands into the earth without hurting himself while a wide and tall wall of any kind of earth matter is formed, about seven feet high and three feet wide and ten inches thick. This wall is more used as a defense then offense as any projectile or attack of solid matter has to go through it to hit Yemi. The wall can be used as an attack if Yemi were to punch and kick chucks out of the wall to the foe. This attack is avoided by getting out of the range of it dodging to either side or use a good shield to repel the chucks of earth. The wall’s strength depends on the material of it. Sand, easy to form, doesn’t take too much power from Yemi so being able to do it at least 4 times until being tired. Anything harder to form such as solid concrete, rock he can only hold together for a short amount of time and do it only about 2 times. To pass the wall’s defense anything that opposes the material and has enough strength can go through it such as water to sand or soft soil, and simply waiting for Yemi to let go of the rock matter wall sense he can’t hold it for long. Or just jumping, flying over it before getting attacked works as well. Reap and Sow - Strong Power: Yemi has to use his hammer and his charm for this attack and exerts all of his strength making him very weak and slow. Using his wings he leaps high into the air (about 10-15 feet) with targeting his foe and twirl in mid-air with his hammer in both hands and with enough speed to his spin he lets go to of his weapon at the opponent, which can be easily dodged, but once it hits the ground it cracks it and causes a small shake , yet small to scale it’s enough to shake someone’s balance. The earth breaks open having a gash into the land which breaks outwards, causing anything in its path to slip into it's ditch. If one were to be caught they would be hurt but nowhere near death. This attack can be avoided by running away from the radius of the attack which is 10 feet and add a little some if Yemi exerts his power into it. It can also hit a pipe line (or near water) which can cause it to fill with water rapidly decreasing the amount of damage greatly. OR one can jump, hover, fly, stand on the attack or just get to high ground. TRANSFORMATION TOOL:A Silver Pocket Watch that belongs to Yemi’s father. It has a design of Africa on the front and the three striped flag on the back.
DEBACLES: Wind: With a strong enough wind Yemi can get sidetracked from his memories due to wind or the wind powerful enough to blast and erode the earth formations Yemi makes rapidly. Water: Having him in water deep enough that he can drown pretty much tells his weakness right there! Not being able to swim he can easily drown and sink to the watery depths. Also water can turn anything loamy into mud or quicksand, making it hard for Yemi to control and make get trapped in it. Height: Being high enough throws him off his senses as he loses concentration easily not being able to handle anything too high. I.E. being on a building and fighting on it will cause him to be very cautious and his nerves on edge hating to actually fall from high flights due to the fact from his memories and that he can’t fly. Recoil: His attacks CAN recoil reaping him of his energy and allowing him to be an easy target as he can’t lift anything heavy anymore and his movement to slow even if he were possible to use his dancing to get away. His attacks can also recoil such as getting distracted and losing his formations leaving him open to hit. Blindness: Yemi CANNOT sense other Elemental Soule character’s at all. Making it hard to know a friend or foe is nearby. So he can easily be attacked from an enemy or have a hard time finding his allies in need of his help. |

EXTRA: On Yemi’s attacks they seem to be obvious but of course not when they encounter him (for the foes) I wanted to add the blind part so that it would give some extra dilemma on Yemi’s part as well as the allies, also a plan to work on a side story that has to deal with Yemi and Mati (You can ask me about this of course). |

The roaring of the crowd, the clapping of hands and the intense bass of hip-hop music shakes the hearts of every person within the building as the DJ keeps the music going until loud cheers were heard when a figure appeared on a stage. The young man stepped onto the stage, his hair tied down with a single hair band while he wore a forest button-down shirt that had no logo. His pants were cargos and slightly baggy as they covered his black Nike basketball sneakers. He looked out at the crowd as he felt nervous. “Yemi…you can do this.” Came across his mind as he raised a hand into the air as a chant followed along screaming his name… Then a thump would hit his forehead as he suddenly awoke from what seemed to be a daydream. “Erm...” is all he could say as he looked around himself seeing he was in the food court of the mall. “Yemi, man! Wake up! You’re doing that spacing out thing again.” Coen waved a french fry at his friend before chewing on it. “I swear always thinking about something… About being famous at your goal of course?” He would grin as a hand rose to scratch his head briefly. “You need to at least give it a rest and think about…” He would point to a group of giggling girls as they were talking and walking by with bags of merchandise from the stores. “The ladies, know what I mean?” He kept that grin as it turned into a sly smirk obviously something he was planning. “Wha-?” Yemi would look at the direction of Coen’s pointing and then instantly blushed a she noticed the girls, all of which looked very pretty to him. “Wait…wait a second Coen…” He would wave his hands at him and a he slyly smirked. “Don’t think about it! I know what you’re thinking. Remember last time? You got dumped in a trash can by a different girl’s boyfriend! I’m surprised he didn’t bother with me.” “Hmn...” a single finger was scratching his cheek as he looked at Yemi with a slight glare. “Well of course not, you hid after seeing the huge guy come from behind me. You could’ve at least pushed him! That guy would’ve flown knowing how strong you are.” Coen felt the sting remembering that day as he squinted remembering all the gunk in his hair from the trash. Yemi sighed as he shook his head, “But you know that I don’t fight, besides he was... pretty big guy.” Yemi poked his fingers together finding no real comeback until he heard a soft voice behind him. “Hey! You! You’re…that guy I’ve seen at the arcades and dancing at some of those tournaments right?”She would poke Yemi softly on the shoulder to keep his attention as she tilted her head slightly. Her eyes were of a typical blue with the blonde hair color with a white tank top and blue skirt. “Ah..ah..” Yemi stuttered as he looked on at her with a dumb found look his mouth opened as his blush, yet not easily seen, was heating his cheeks. “Um, well yes I suppose. But I could be someone else.” He would wave a hand until he heard a voice over shadow his. “Him? Yeah he’s the guy you’ve been looking at. He’s a pretty good dancer, and I happen to be his trainer and partner too, name’s Coen.” Shooting a grin at her all he got was a disgusted face in return. “Humph. Yeah I know you, you keep hitting on me and my friends ALL THE TIME!” She would snap and give him a good push in the face which caused him to loose his balance and land back into his seat. “Good-bye. Let’s go girls.” Giving rude gesture at Coen she would quickly walk off with her friends. Looking on he just sat there trying to hold back a chuckle seeing the look on Coen’s face of another rejection. “I don’t think I could get a girlfriend at how you tackle at them.” Standing up and taking step to Coen he would smile softly. “C’mon! I still have some cash for a few more rounds of DDR. At least the machine swoons to your dancing moves there, right?” He let a small chuckle as he let his hand out so he could take it. “Heh, at least you’re right there but I swear you might as well marry that machine from how much money you blow on that game…” He chuckled too as he took Yemi’s hand and stood up. “Fine I’ll try to keep quiet next time.” He smiled as he wrapped an arm around Yemi’s neck and pointed to the arcade. “Let’s D-D-R!” |
